Any visitor to the Mining Camp Restaurant quickly learns about the long and colorful history of the area, as newspaper and magazine clippings adorn the walls and provide a historic glimpse into the legend and lore of this area. These articles include rare tellings of the stories of treasure hunters, spanish gold, murder, mystery and intrigue.
Many requests have been made over the years to make this treasure trove of information available to the public. We are beginning the process of adding many of these clippings on the wall to our online historic archive section of this web site.
